techella is australia's first festival format tech event for women — late 2026, and SXSW Sydney just got cancelled. the audience is here. the moment is open. you're early.

the most underserved buyer in australian tech is a woman
SXSW Sydney got pulled. the calendar is empty. and the women who are starting the businesses, signing the cheques, and adopting AI faster than anyone else are still being marketed to like an afterthought. techella puts your brand in front of the buyer your category is missing — and you can be the brand that got there first.

= 46K+ women in tech, AI + female founders

Brooke Wright
founder + IP holder
brooke is the girl who actually does the doing. she's been running wright mode — a boutique consultancy implementing AI for non-technical female founders — since 2022, built a cult-favourite audience of nearly 36K across instagram + tiktok, and consulted on AI implementation for established personal-brand and haircare clients along the way. techella is hers: trademark filed with IP australia in april 2026.

// audience.profile
she's the girl your brand wants in the room
she's been to the sausage-fest tech conferences. she's done the lanyard-and-lukewarm-coffee circuit. she's the one her team asks about new tools, the one her friends ask about software, the one running the budget. and she's tired of being marketed to by men who think pink means representation — or that she's the one woman on the panel.
demographic
- women, 26-50, the majority 30-42
- household income $120K-$200K+ AUD, decision-makers on personal + work spend
- based in sydney, melbourne, brisbane — willing to fly for this
- founders, operators, engineers, designers, marketers, AI-curious
- tertiary educated, online-native, brand-literate
psychographic
- values craft, taste, and the people behind the product
- buys from brands with a point of view, not a discount code
- tired of panels of men talking about women in tech
- wants tools that make her life easier, not louder
- shows up for the aesthetic and stays for the substance

the questions you're actually thinking
what's the actual impact of sponsoring?
you're in the room with 300-500 women who control household + work tech budgets, are 85% more likely to actually deploy AI in their business, and currently aren't being marketed to by anyone in your category. founding partners get a stage moment, a curated activation, social + email reach across our 46K+ community, and the long-tail brand equity of being one of two brands attached to techella's launch year forever. premier + supporting tiers scale that down accordingly.
when do i need to commit?
no hard deadline. founding has 2 spots and they go in order of who signs first. once they're gone they're gone. premier + supporting are open until the room sells out, usually about 12 weeks before event.
how do payment terms work?
standard: 50% deposit on signing, 50% balance 60 days before the event. if you'd rather pay 100% upfront, you unlock the bonus pack on founding tier (naming rights to a zone + 5 extra VIP passes + year 1 price lock for year 2 renewal). full refund if we cancel before the balance is invoiced; pro-rata if later. force majeure rolls forward to the rescheduled date or following year.
is my brand actually a fit?
the lens: female-founded ✓ female-leaning ICP ✓ AI/tech-adjacent ✓ values-aligned (we're not partnering with anything that fights the brief). anything else, we'll tell you straight on the call.
who else is sponsoring?
founding partners stay confidential until launch — that's part of what you're buying (the announcement moment). premier + supporting partners are disclosed at the public lineup drop in june.
is the date locked?
city + date are locked, publicly announced in june. founding partners get the info first under NDA, so you can plan your activation properly.
are you insured?
$20m public liability cover will be in place by signing. you're named as additional insured on the certificate. event cancellation cover layered on top.
what's not included in any tier?
venue advertising rights and day-of merch sales rights stay with techella. attendee data is opt-in only, privacy act + GDPR compliant — she actively chooses to share with you. everything else is on the table — pitch us.
